Privacy and aggregate measurement
Anonymous site totals
We count page loads, newly accepted I WANT THIS votes and successfully accepted contact enquiries to understand which concepts are discovered and attract interest. Counts are grouped by UTC day, page or concept, a broad source category and a small set of approved campaign labels. Reloads count again; these are not unique visitor counts.
Measurement does not use cookies, local storage, visitor IDs, raw IP storage, fingerprints, advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking. We do not store full referring URLs, arbitrary query text, contact-form contents or voting identity hashes in analytics. Attribution applies only to the current page; we do not follow your journey between pages. Your browser necessarily sends network information to our hosting provider to serve requests, but our measurement code does not store it.
Aggregate counts are kept in a separate Cloudflare database. Active counts expire after fewer than 60 days; including Cloudflare recovery history, retention is no more than 90 days. We do not keep permanent measurement exports.
To decline measurement, enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. Our measurement respects either signal. Blocking the measurement script also prevents page-load measurement.
Votes and enquiries
Voting separately uses an on-device marker and a server-side keyed network hash to limit duplicate votes. Those signals are never used for browsing analytics or connected to it. Contact-form details are used to deliver and respond to your enquiry, through our existing email provider; analytics receives only a count after delivery is accepted, never your name, email, company or message.
Embedded videos
Concept videos use YouTube embeds. YouTube may process information when its player loads or is used under its own privacy terms. The aggregate measurement described above adds no advertising tracker.
